MADE IN CHINA

Made in China – postcards from Van Gogh is a work that finds inspiration in the great Dutch painter, not only from the pictorial production, but also from the literary one: the letters to Theo, but above all those to Émile Bernard and his sister Wilhelmina.

The show, with a varied dramaturgy, develops through paintings, whose flow is interrupted by independent episodes that are exhausted in their own fulfilment. The scenic research aims to find new notes about the actor's work for two, trying to contrast what are the guarantees, but also the clichés, of the man-woman relationship on stage.

A show by the Leviedelfoll company produced by the Fondazione Teatro della Toscana.
